Mark A. Ogle is a Family Lawyer with a reputation of treating his clients with compassion. Mark has demonstrated his passion for finding the best possible solution for each individual client he represents. This is evidenced by the many “thank you” notes and cards he receives after the representation is completed. He helps his clients settle their cases as quickly and as amicably as possible in order to avoid trial. However, when resolution cannot be achieved, he will work tirelessly as an advocate on his clients’ behalf to protect their rights. Mark has represented clients at every social and economic level , from Professional Athletes, Corporate Executives, Small Business Owners, Doctors, Teachers, Industrial Employees, Homemakers and the Spouses of all of these to name a few. Mark has worked on cases with assets well over $20 million and cases with assets fewer than $50 thousand. He has handled all types of issues related to divorce such as difficult custody matters, child support, business evaluations, division of retirement accounts and spousal maintenance issues.

Mark has been a part of shaping the Domestic Relations Law for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Mark’s appellate practice has set in place new law as it pertains to non-biological third party rights to children where the biological parent failed to act timely to assert it rights, and he helped to establish a more clear definition for parties, attorneys and judges regarding the complicated area of subject-matter jurisdiction and modification of custody under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act. Since 2006, Mark has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, one of the most prestigious groups of family lawyers in the United States. He has been selected as a Kentucky Super Lawyer for Family Law. Mark has lectured many times for such groups as the Kentucky Bar Assoc., Northern Kentucky Bar Assoc., Louisville Bar Assoc., Kentucky Justice Assoc., Kentucky Collaborative Family Network and the Kentucky Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He has also published an article “It’s Elementary My Dear”… Or is It?, discussing the proper method to value a Kentucky teacher’s retirement account. Mark is a member of the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and is past chair of the NKBA’s Family Law Section. He is also member of the Kentucky Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and is now the chapter's president-elect. Finally, Mark is the vice-president of the Academy of Northern Kentucky Collaborative Professionals and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Mark graduated from High School in Western Kentucky and continued his education at Centre College of Kentucky where he played basketball on a NCAA Division III Final Four team, as well as earning letters in three sports--Basketball, Baseball and Golf. Mark was selected as an All Conference Athlete in two sports--Basketball and Baseball.Following college, he attended Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Mark had achieved the position of Partner with the law firm of Cors & Bassett in Cincinnati, OH prior to founding the law firm now knows as Mark A. Ogle Family Law Practice.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys watching his daughters play volleyball at the club, high school and college levels. He also enjoys a round of golf and cooking for and with his family and friends.
